Want to get off the beaten track and into the heart of Thailand, but not ready to go full enduro? Join us for a Backroads Tour. The roads will be small, the scenery wild, the routes obscure; we’ll visit villages, waterfalls, and mountaintops.
Motorcycle Choice
Using CRF300L with 50/50 tires, this type of tour will take you to hidden places. You’ll meet the many different hilltribe cultures of the Lanna region in the company of our guides who speak English, Thai, and local dialects; every meal is a feast of local foods, and you’ll find yourself surrounded by coffee gardens and tea plantations at high altitude. Soak in secluded hotsprings, and watch the clouds roll across the valleys at your feet.
Long Tour, Short Tour?
We recommend a multiday tour, to allow full immersion in the magic and tranquility of this region. Each night, accommodation will be simple but comfortable ensuite rooms in different towns and villages.
Road conditions will include a variety of asphalt and concrete mountain roads, with the option of some relaxed gravel routes on request.
